4th class Viking huts made using "wattle and daub" technique.

20th Apr 2021

This week we began to collect old twigs and vines from our wooded area to create Wattle and Daub huts. These types of huts are very commonly seen in Viking times and also mud huts in Africa. It is a very enjoyable practice that is very easy to make after you gather the correct materials. This will take a few weeks to complete and we will post the finished work on the website once completed. Here is a sneak peak of the work carried out so far.
