St Marnocks SNS Claim Bragging Rights in Senior Hurling Clash

St Marnocks SNS secured a hard-fought victory over rivals St Helens in a thrilling senior hurling encounter that threw in at 3pm under extremely challenging conditions. A gale-force wind swept across the pitch throughout the match, making for a tough and unpredictable battle for both sides.

Despite the difficult weather, the game was played in great spirit. While the teams share friendships off the field, there was no shortage of intensity once the sliotar was thrown in, with both sides determined to come out on top.

St Marnocks ultimately emerged victorious, earning well-deserved bragging rights after a full-team performance packed with determination, skill, and heart. Leading the way were standout displays from full-back Cillian Kopecky, centre-back Dylan Leavy, and corner-forward Max Gayler, all of whom made crucial contributions at key moments in the game.

The win was built on a collective effort, with every player playing their part. From vital hooks and blocks to relentless work rate across the pitch, the team showed incredible commitment from start to finish.
