In preparation for studying about the Easter Rising and this period in Irish History, sixth class took a trip to visit Glasnevin.
They were supplied with a fantastic tour, and explored many different graves including; Daniel O’ Connell, Michael Collins , Éamon De Valera, Grace Gifford, the republican graves and many more.
It was a fantastic trip and it gave sixth class great knowledge to get them ready to learn about this period in Irish history.
