A group of girls from our 3rd Class along with some girls in other years organised themselves to mark International Woman’s Day on the 8th March! Being the young leaders that they are they decided to run a shop to fundraise money which they donated to our school for the school multipurpose play area. They baked and crafted and their stall outside Aisling’s house raised €452 in total! They received match funding (very entrepreneurial!), and donations from parents, grandparents, relations and friends to achieve this significant amount. We are so very proud of them for their thoughtfulness, hard work, generosity and leadership – a huge thank you girls!!
