The 3rd Classes attended a GAA blitz in Naomh Mearnog GAA Club with St. Helen’s N.S. recently. We walked from our school to the GAA club and back again – it was a much slower walk on the walk back… The boys and girls enjoyed a morning of fun football with the emphasis on taking part and enjoying themselves – while goals weren’t counted and there were no ‘winners’, all the teams knew exactly how they got on!! A big thank you to Paul our local GAA Coach and to all the Transition Year Referees who helped make it such a great day out.
