Teams of Under 12 and Under 14 athletes, accompanied by Ms. Rossiter and Ms. Daly travelled to Morton Stadium, Santry on Tuesday 20th May. The previous few weeks had seen them working hard on baton changes, sprinting, long distance, long jump and shot put and they felt that they were in with a shout of at least a few medals. They were not disappointed on the day with a great haul of 9 medals and a cup. Here is the breakdown:
Gold for the U12 Boys relay team: Max Bamford, Dylan Leavy, Darren Chuks Osuala, Cullan Barrett and Hugh Jordan. They also won a perpetual cup.
Gold for Mary Henry in the U14 long jump.
Gold for Daniel Lucas Turczyn in the U14 shot put
Silver for Max Bamford in the U12 sprints
Silver for Andrew Low in the U14 long jump
