For a short time Room 13 was full of Civil Engineers this week in school. Their task was to construct a stable bridge across tables which had a gap. They used cups and clothes pegs to make the bridge. The test came at the end when the teacher tried to blow the bridge down! An Bord Glas were the winners – nothing moved on their bridge. Their secret was extra peg reinforcements at the bottom!
