Science week in 6th class

For science week, we did some experiments using balloons in Mr. Maughan's Sixth class. We used balloons, straws, string, tape and glue to build balloon rockets. We then raced them using the string as tracks. We had to make sure that the two pieces of string were the same length and that the slope was not too steep! 

We learned about forces and friction while doing this experiment.
