6th Class Graduation

28th Jun 2021

The 6th classes finished their school year with an outdoor graduation ceremony last Friday. Despite the light rain, everyone was in good spirits. Ellie Reen recited a poem in memory of Finn Morrissey and James O'Brien recited his poem entitled "If I lived on the Moon". Ronan O'Brien also made a short speech. In her speech Ms. Trimble had some words of advice for the students and wished them all the best in their future lives. The teachers, Ms. Dwyer, Mr. Scallan and Ms. Cullen said a few words and were presented with bouquets and gifts. They then presented their students with graduation hoodies which were supplied by the parents association. Ms. Whelan was thanked for her work on the graduation video. There was a tree planting ceremony for Finn Morrissey and members of his class helped to plant and water it. It was a successful event and the children will remember it in years to come.
